根据学校关于2026年劳动节放假的通知，现将假期安排及安全工作通知如下：
In accordance with the University’s official notice on the 2026 LAODONG Day holiday, we hereby notify you of the holiday arrangement and safety precautions as follows:
一、放假安排
5月1日（周五）至5月5日（周二）放假调休，共计5天。调休补课安排：5月9日（周六）正常上课，补5月5日（周二）的课程，请同学们提前做好课程调整准备。
I Holiday Arrangement
The Labor Day holiday will be from Friday, May 1 to Tuesday, May 5, lasting 5 days in total.
Make-up Class Arrangement: Classes will be held as usual on Saturday, May 9 to make up for the courses originally scheduled for Tuesday, May 5. All students are requested to make proper arrangements in advance.

II. Relevant Requirements
1.假期离校的学生须按要求请假，经导师和学院同意并报辅导员、国教院批准，并做好备案登记后方可出行，返校后第一时间销假。严禁未经审批擅自集体出行，严禁未经审批擅自开展规模性聚集活动。若离校后前往其他城市，须在到达目的地后24小时内，到属地派出所办理住宿登记，履行相关登记义务。
Students leaving campus during holidays must request leave in accordance with regulations. They must obtain parental consent, secure approval from their counselor and academic advisor, and complete the required registration before departure. Upon returning to campus, they must cancel their leave immediately. Unauthorized group travel is strictly prohibited, as is the unauthorized organization of large-scale gatherings.
2.全体国际学生必须遵守中国法律法规和校纪校规。违反国家法律、法令、法规受到公安、司法部门处罚者，视其情节轻重，给予严重警告直至开除学籍处分；尤其是谨防非法打工、签证过期、酗酒闹事、校外住宿扰民等常见违法违纪行为发生。
All international students must comply with Chinese laws and regulations in addition to our university’s policies. Any violation of national laws, ordinances and statutes will result in legal penalties from the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Justice, and, according to the severity of the offense, students who commit violations will be given a serious warning that could lead to expulsion from China University of Geosciences. Please pay a special attention to the common violations such as illegal working with student visa, visa expiration, unruly behaviour due to alcohol, and disturbing others when living off campus.
3.假期期间，不出入酒吧等场所，不喝酒不酗酒，杜绝各种吸毒贩毒行为。
During the holidays, do not go to bars and other places, do not drink alcohol or abuse alcohol. Any kinds of drug trafficking is forbidden.
4.遵守学生宿舍管理规定。请同学们按时归寝，严禁晚归，严禁翻越围墙，严禁未经允许校外留宿。按时作息，在就寝时间（晚上十一点）后，不得噪音扰民影响他人休息，严禁聚会吵闹。外出锁好宿舍门窗，保管好自己的贵重物品；注意用电安全，离开宿舍及时断电，不在宿舍乱拉乱接电线，不使用大功率电器，不使用劣质充电器，不在宿舍房间生火做饭，严防火灾。
Obey dormitory regulations carefully. Please return to the dormitory on time, no late return, no climbing over the fence, and no staying off campus without permission. Please keep a good living habits. No noise disturbance to affect the rest of others after bedtime (11pm) and no party noisy. When you go out, please lock up windows and door of dormitory, keep your valuable properties properly. Please pay attention to the safety of electricity, make sure you have cut off the supply of the electricity when you leave. Do not pull wires and use high-power appliances or inferior chargers, and do not cook in the dormitory room, so as to prevent fire hazards.
5.交通与出行安全提醒。遵守交通法规，注意交通安全。不得骑行摩托车和无牌照电动车。电瓶车行驶不超速、不超载、骑自行车不逆行行驶、不闯红灯。离开武汉必须告知Jacky老师并在网上登记，随身携带有效护照，异地住宿需要24小时内、在当地派出所办理登记住宿。
Traffic and travel safety reminders: Please abide by all traffic laws and regulations and pay close attention to traffic safety. Riding motorcycles is not permitted. When riding battery-operated vehicles, do not overspeed or overload. If riding a bicycle, do not go against traffic or run red lights. When you leave Wuhan, you must inform Jacky and register online. You must take your valid passport with you. To stay in other places outside Wuhan, you need to go to the local police station for registration in 24 hours.
6.防盗防骗安全提醒:不要随身携带大量现金，宿舍不留宿外人，外出一定将窗、阳台、门锁好。拒绝任何形式推销，严守个人信息。一定保管好个人的有效证件，不要将个人证件借给他人使用，并随身携带有效证件的复印件。
Reminders regarding safety when using elevators: When using an elevator, please do not overload. When an warning alarm occurs, it is supposed to exit the escalator quickly and steadily. If a malfunction occurs when using the escalator, please call maintenance or the police, and do not panic.
7.当前网络诈骗呈多发高发态势，诈骗分子以刷单返利、低息贷款、高回报理财等为诱惑实施诈骗。请您切实提高防范意识，不要轻易相信他人推荐的各种网络“生财之道”，不要轻易点击他人发送的网络链接、安装来路不明的APP，更不要轻易进行转账。网络有风险，上网需谨慎！
The telecom network fruad is high at present. They use the temptation of brush single for rebate, low-interest loans and high-return financial management to commit fraud. Please raise your awareness of prevention, don't trust all kinds of network "ways to make money" recommended by others, don't click on unknown network links, or install unknown APP, especially don't transfer money to strangers.There is risk for online transaction. Be alert when surfing the Internet!
8.不购买和食用“三无”食品、过期食品和来历不明的可疑食物，防止食物中毒；养成规律、均衡、健康的饮食习惯。
Avoid purchasing and consuming unlabeled, expired, or suspicious foods of unknown origin to prevent food poisoning; develop regular, balanced, and healthy eating habits.
9.注意预防季节性流行病；做好个人防护和健康监测，如有发热、皮疹、关节痛等症状，及时就医并向学校报告；如患传染病，第一时间做好自我隔离，积极配合治疗。
Take precautions against seasonal epidemics; practice personal protection and health monitoring. If you experience symptoms such as fever, rash, or joint pain, seek medical attention promptly and report to the school. If diagnosed with an infectious disease, self-isolate immediately and cooperate fully with treatment.
